Tangy Sweet Cole Slaw
Sweet and Tangy Coleslaw great for a side dish.
Ingredients
  • 1 medium head (2-2½ lbs) cabbage, shredded or coarsely chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, shredded
  • 1 tsp celery seed
  • ¼ cup oil
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
Instructions
  1. Sprinkle salt over shredded cabbage & carrots and mix. Add celery seed.
  2. Fill 2 cup measuring cup with ¼ cup oil then fill with vinegar to the ½ cup line.
  3. Add 1 cup sugar and mix until sugar is dissolved.
  4. Pour over cabbage and mix until watery.
  5. Marinate in refrigerator for 3-4 hours or even overnight.
Notes
Makes a medium sized bowl of slaw
