Ingredients
- 1 medium head (2-2½ lbs) cabbage, shredded or coarsely chopped
- 2 medium carrots, shredded
- 1 tsp celery seed
- ¼ cup oil
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
- Sprinkle salt over shredded cabbage & carrots and mix. Add celery seed.
- Fill 2 cup measuring cup with ¼ cup oil then fill with vinegar to the ½ cup line.
- Add 1 cup sugar and mix until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour over cabbage and mix until watery.
- Marinate in refrigerator for 3-4 hours or even overnight.
